Esther Ochan

Esther lives with her family near downtown Jinja in a house that they own. She is an officer of the Pit-tek group. There are 13 members of the household including her husband, 6 of their own children plus 5 additional children of relatives (where both of these children’s parents have died.)  They have been in Jinja for 20 years since coming there from Gulu town because of the war.  Her husband works for the electricity board and she raises chickens to sell to others.
