Lubangankene Age – 14 Grade – Primary 6 (Day)
Edison lives with his mother, 3 other siblings and 2 cousins (children of his mother’s deceased sister) in
Kitgum. His father is dead.
Edison’s mother earns money by making the beaded necklaces and selling foodstuffs in the market. Edison helps by cleaning and fetching water.
Edison has a high school ranking in a 2nd division school. His best subjects are Science and English. He loves playing football and would like to become a sports manager. (He’d like to have his own soccer ball.)
Even though the mother works hard, there isn’t enough money for school fees. Any help from the sponsorship program is greatly appreciated.
Annual sponsorship cost is $150 for primary school fees, uniforms, basic school supplies and supplemental food. The sponsorship amount can be paid annually, or by term at $50 per term. Additional optional amounts up to $300 total may be contributed during the calendar year as a special family gift.
