Unable to return to her home village of Madi Opei, Aloyo Margreat came to Kitgum after living in an IDP camp for eighteen years. A forty-eight-year-old widow and mother of eight children, she has a grocery business and does beading. In the future, she hopes to live in a concrete home instead of a hut. She also hopes that the group expands so that other women are able to have businesses and make money. “I used to worry about everything,” she recalls, “Now I get counseling and knowledge from the group.”
