Business Class Recognition Ceremony

After a hard week’s work of business class training, our beaders were recognized for their efforts in improving their business skills.  Each class participant received a certificate of recognition.   Here, Michele appreciates her co-trainer and Jinja group beader, Joy Otim.

Twenty women participated in the business skills class.  The class was lead by Outreach Uganda volunteer, Michele.  Supplemental classes on Personal Development (and how that relates to improving your business) were also given by volunteers Marcie and Nura.

At the same time these classes were taking place, Carol Davis was presenting classes on Leadership skills.  In all, over 60 of our Jinja group beaders participated in at least one of these training classes.

But the training won’t stop here.  Michele and Joy Otim will continue the business training via skype throughout the remainder of the year. Stay tuned for more updates!
