Donate & Change Lives!

Some charities build schools, some build orphanages, some build water wells. WE BUILD LIVES. Your donation today will impact lives and change the world.

Help our 200+ Ugandan women beaders and their families achieve their dreams by towards three major projects that we are focusing on and which we believe will have the maximum impact on their lives. Money goes much further in Uganda than it does in the U.S. For just a small amount of money, you can make incredible things happen. Things that can have a dramatic impact on the future of one family, one woman or one child. We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization so any gift you make is fully tax deductible in the U.S.

Your investment in the Ugandan beaders' lives gives hope to their hearts, sparkles to their eyes, and joy to their lives. We know. We spend over 2 months each year in Uganda with our beader groups and can see firsthand how powerfully your gifts improve and then transform their lives.

Special priorities for 2019 are:
1. Complete stocking of the newly built school library room at the Agwata school. $1000 still needed to complete purchasing of furnishings plus additional textbooks.
2. Food for the 14 6th Grade girls boarding at our school. $1000 feeds the girls for 1 term (3 months) as part of our Girls' Education Initiative program which helps keep over 150 northern Uganda girls in school. $1000
3. Provide student desks 35 single seater desks are needed for 6th graders for the 2020 school year. This is necessary to be registered as an exam center. Cost $50 each.
4. $1000 to purchase additional malaria treatment medications and test strips for Sept. to Dec. 2019. Malaria cases have been rampant. We desperately need this.
5. Double decker bunk beds for our 6th grade boarding students at our Agwata school. Each bed costs $$150. 3 additional beds are needed.
6. Building small storage building for women's program - 2 women will live here during home construction starting early 2020. Cost: $1500
7. Home ownership program - cost of 2 water storage tanks for project's water system -$2200 + $1600 for tank supports
8. $1200 to provide additional teacher training and incentives for teaching extra lessons. We are a remote area and want to retain better teachers!
9. Remaining cost to connect to electrical grid for women's home ownership project. We have raised $9000 so far but $2500 more is needed to bring electricity to our home ownership project to build 40+ homes.

As one of our long-time supporters said recently, we can see you're changing lives! We do that only with your help which in turn inspires our women and families to have confidence in themselves and to persevere no matter what.
