We’re thrilled to share some remarkable news that showcases the profound impact of your support on our Agwata Primary School!
This past January, 6th grade students across Uganda anxiously awaited their national exam results. For these students, the scores determine not only their ability to progress to secondary school but also which schools they can attend—and, importantly, whether their families can afford the fees.
We are excited to announce that Agwata School’s 6th graders have once again excelled, ranking 3rd overall in the district out of 96 primary schools. This achievement is not an isolated event; for the past five years, our school has consistently been among the top 2 or 3 schools in the district. This year, every single student passed with flying colors, with no unsatisfactory grades.
Additionally, our school was highlighted at the district meeting for being the top-performing girls’ school since 2019. Out of the 38 students who took the exams, 22 were girls—a testament to our ongoing commitment to empowering female students.
This is where your generosity truly makes a difference. Your ongoing support—through sponsorships and contributions to scholarships—helps bridge this gap. Thanks to you, these bright, promising students have the opportunity to pursue further education, including university and vocational training, paving the way for future success and stable employment.
