Ayee lives with her family in the village of Agwata located in northern Uganda. She is the oldest child among 3 children.

English is Ayee’s favorite subject at school. She would like to become a nurse in the future so that she can help treat the sick in her community. She works hard and is doing extremely well in school. She recently placed in the top 10 in the district for girls her age in their Primary 7 year end exam.

Ayee helps her family at home with cooking, fetching water, sweeping the compound and farming. She enjoys reading story books and listening to radio programs in her free time. Ayee is active and very hardworking.

Annual sponsorship cost is $350 to allow Ayee to be part of the sponsorship program which helps provide her school fees, room and board at school, basic school supplies and mentoring by OU staff. This amount can be paid annually, by term at $117, or via monthly credit card payment of $29 per month.
