Sharon lives in the village of Agwata located in northern Uganda with her parents and 4 siblings. She is the 3rd born among 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

English is Sharon’s favorite subject at school. She is a disciplined student and is hoping to become a journalist in the future.

Sharon helps her parents at home with cooking, fetching water and washing utensils. She enjoys playing card games with her friends in her free time. Sharon is social and hardworking.

The annual scholarship for Sharon is $350 as a day student. This provides her school fees, uniform, basic school supplies and mentoring by OU staff. This amount can be paid annually, by term at $117, or via monthly credit card payment of $29 per month.
