Pinyoloya Lillian lives with her mother and 5 siblings in the rural village of Agwata located in northern Uganda.  She is the second oldest child.

Lillian helps her mother by sweeping the compound, cooking, fetching water and weeding.  She is confident, active and respectful, and a great role model.

Lillian’s favorite subject in school is English.  She is performing very well in school.  When she graduated from 6^th grade, she placed among the top ten girls in the district in the national exams.  She is hoping to become a teacher one day so that she can teach others what she has been taught.

The annual sponsorship for Lillian is $700 that can be split among 2 sponsors at $350 each. The scholarship provides her school fees, room and board, uniform, basic school supplies and mentoring by OU staff.  This amount can be paid annually, by term at $117, or via monthly credit card payment of $29 per month.
