Blessing lives in a grass-thatched hut in the village of Layamo in northern Uganda. She is the second eldest of three children and lives with her extended family of eight people including her grandparents.

Blessing’s favorite subject in school is religious education. She dreams of becoming a teacher one day because she admires how teachers work with children, helping them learn different subjects.

At home, Blessing helps her family by fetching firewood and sweeping the house. In her free time, she enjoys playing running games with her friends. Blessing is a social and hard-working girl.

Annual sponsorship cost is $360 for primary school fees, mentoring and coaching and basic school supplies. This amount can be paid annually, by term at $120 per term, or via monthly credit card payment of $30 per month.
