Purchase an “Ornament of Hope” and help a beader become a homeowner! Since 2013, our ornament sales proceeds helped us to purchase a total of 7 acres of land for our home ownership program for our Jinja beaders. This program will assure that our courageous women beaders can move out of the Ugandan slums and out of poverty forever. Our beaders have been busy all summer making these special ornaments to bring them closer to their lifelong (but previously unattainable) goal of owning their own home.

These ornaments will make a popular gift item for the holidays and help our beaders too! Our bulb ornaments are made of colorful paper beads and come in a variety of colors. Here is our current selection:

Our ornaments are quite versatile. Buy a dozen of them to hang on a small tree. Or tie them with ribbon onto your gift boxes and bags in lieu of a bow! Use a suction cup and hang them on a window. A beautiful organza gift bag is included free of charge with all retail orders along with a small tag explaining the special meaning of the ornament.
