Oyoo lives in a mud and grass-thatched hut in the Agwata village in northern Uganda. He lives with his parents and siblings who are subsistence farmers in the village. He is the second born out of three children of his mother. His father has six children.

At school, Oyoo’s favorite subject is math. He wants to become a mechanic in the future and that is why he is passionate about school.

At home, Oyoo helps his family by sweeping the compound and farming too. In his free time, he makes toy cars from mud. He also plays football. He is a social boy and hard working too.

Annual sponsorship cost is $360 for primary school fees, mentoring and coaching and basic school supplies. This amount can be paid annually, by term at $120 per term, or via monthly credit card payment of $30 per month.
